Philips Hue down: Control via app and Alexa not possible in some cases
At the moment, Philips Hue seems to be down. In some cases, the control of the lamps in the app does not work this way - the light can of course still be switched on manually.
For a few minutes it seems Proproblems with Philips Hue. The Philips app is specifically affected here, both on Android and iOS. Alexa also does not currently work in connection with Philips Hue. With both platforms, it is not possible to control your own lamps in your own home. I could do it Proproblem and cannot operate the lamps in the app at the moment. However, if you connect to your own WLAN, control is still possible (since it is local).
Philips Hue down: We are already working on the fix
If you're at home right now, you don't have any Protrouble. However, if you want to control your lights while on the go (if you have set up this function) or are not connected to your own WLAN, you have to use the Philips servers, which are currently available Procause problems. In the app you will then see the error "Unable to connect". Control with Alexa is also currently not possible. Here you get the error: "The device is currently not responding".
Philips has already reacted and is working on the interference suppression:
Currently we are having an issue with remote connectivity (Out of Home, voice commands), and we're working hard to resolve it ASAP. Your local connection via Wi-Fi is not affected by this. We'll keep you posted!

Update at 19:42 pm: The Problem seems to be fixed (at least with the Philips app)
Update at 20:27 pm: Not all services have been restored yet. Some logins are not yet possible, and Alexa is not yet working perfectly either.
We will keep you up to date.
Still not possible, login in meethue not possible
Thanks for the info, article is updated. Login works for me, but then nothing loads on the page.
Does the control work with the app (outside of your WLAN) for you?
Your own fault if you have to buy something ... * hehe *
I turn my lights on and off 24/7 with the light switch Prostated problems.
If you hang in your own WLAN, it will continue to work proflawless 😉
