As of yesterday, the Google Assistant is officially available for all the latest Android devices. But there are some requirements that must be met. You can read about them in this article.

So far, the Google Assistant was exclusively reserved for the Google Pixel. Also in Google's Messenger Allo is this already represented. Now this is no longer the case - Google is bringing the Assistant to almost all new smartphones with Android. On the Info page Google now officially reveals all system requirements.

Get the Google Assistant: This must be met

For the Google Assistant to work, the device must meet three requirements. The first requirement is Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher. In addition, the device must have at least 1,5 GB of RAM and be equipped with a display with a resolution of at least 720p. All smartphones with German and English Google services that meet these conditions receive the butler on their smartphone.

The rollout of the voice assistant started yesterday. For this reason, all supported devices should receive the update soon. The user is automatically notified when the butler is available on the smartphone.
