15:45 p.m., Gigaset press conference
Gigaset was the first to present a new smartphone at IFA - yes, smartphone, not that one would think, they only make landline telephones. The first smartphone presented bears the name Gigaset ME. The smartphone has a 5 inch Display, 160 grams in weight, a stainless steel frame - naturally also a Generation 3 Gorilla Glass. The Gigaset ME runs under Lollipop 5.0 with its own user interface - Gigaset UI. Intel yesterday “the best Prozessor ever", the 6th generation, according to Intel, presented - the new one i7. The timing of IFA 2015 should be Intel specifically for the new Proselected processor. Currently going to a Proproject specially developed for cyclists, Xplova, this company was recently acquired by Acer. Xplova now has 15.000 users, 200.000 data uploads and currently offers 52.000 routes for bikes. A new Acer Chromebook should be scratch and shock resistant. Asus goals should be that the future devices should look beautiful, should be powerful and should be intuitive to use. The first thing that was shown was a new router, which is said to be the fastest currently on the market. This has 8 antennas, ideally suited for 4K streaming and gaming.
A new computer was also introduced: the VivoStick PC, he looks like a small USB stick. It has 2 USB ports and is very easy to take with you. You can also easily connect it to the monitor and work or play games there.
Of course that wasn't enough: there is also a new PC, the Zen AiO S, it looks like a strong competitor to Apple. He already has the new one Proprocessor installed by Intel, the i7. An Nvidia GTX 960M graphic card is built in, it has 32 GB RAM and already USB 3.1. The Display has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. 6 loudspeakers are also built into the apparent monitor. Another new feature is that you can unlock the PC with your face. One model has one Storage of 2 terabytes, the other version "only" 1 terabyte. The poorer model also has “only” 16 gigabytes of RAM and an Intel i5. Both should play 4K videos smoothly. Even the Prices are known: the better model costs 1499 euros, the other 1099 euros.

At the start of the presentation, the new Huawei Watch, which was presented at MWC 2015. But then it went straight to one new smartphone, the Huawei MATE S Further. UPDATE: We almost forgot: Lenovo and Motorola also presented a lot to us in the evening. The two companies had organized a joint conference. The first presented Notebook was that IdeaPad: it is 13 inches tall and has Proprocessors of the 6th generation from Intel installed - of course with Windows 10.
