The preview version of Android N available. As some reports and screenshots show, Android Nougat could celebrate its official release on August 22nd. As always, Nexus owners will be the first to receive the update.

LG and a Canadian mobile operator also believe in an update on Monday. However, this should not always be taken too seriously - often these claims were not true. Of the Provider Telus has now published an update list, which shows that the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X should receive their updates to Android 7.0 on Monday. However, Google has not yet officially commented on a launch date for Android Nougat.

Telus also drew attention to Twitter with several tweets that Nougat will soon follow for the first devices. Of course, at first glance you believe that the reports are not false - but it is questionable where the mobile phone provider got this data from. So far, no other mobile operator has this information.

LG also believes in the release date on August 22nd

According to the Android Authority The first LG devices are to be supplied with the update on August 22nd in South Korea. That even seems to be true, because a few days ago LG announced that it would start an Android 7.0 BETA for some users. This should start on August 22nd and run until October 28th, 2016. It is exciting that Google has not added any new features for the preview version since July 18th. It seems likely that Android Nougat is pretty much done.

According to Google, manufacturers are currently prohibited from offering an Android version that has not yet been released. Therefore, LG will not start the Android test until August 22nd. We are curious whether the rumors will come true in the coming days.
