Android leads the tablet market

Almost all newly sold tablets now run on Android. In the first quarter of the year were 65,8 Procent of the tablets with the Android operating system delivered by Google, as announced by the market research company Strategy Analytics in Washington.

Android has made Apple's iPads hot air. In the previous year 2014, the sales share of Android devices in new sales was only 53 Procentrally located.

The iPad's share of the tablets sold is 40,3 Procents in the prior-year quarter to 28,4 Procent, explained Strategy Analytics. The market share of tablets with the Microsoft Windows operating system remained at 5,8 Procent.

A total of 57,6 million tablets were sold worldwide in the first quarter.
