Android Messages: Reminders are coming soon

Everyone knows that: You actually wanted to reply to this one SMS, but then you forgot. An upcoming feature in Android Messages should help against this.

XDA's Quinny899 was playing around with a build of Android Messages and discovered reminders built into it. If you receive a new SMS, a new shortcut appears in the notification center with the text “Remind me in an hour”. I think it's clear what happens when you press that shortcut. After an hour, a reminder is received to reply to this SMS. Now, however, two things are still unclear. First, we don't know if this feature is limited to the notification center only. Second, we don't know when this feature will appear in the final version. Let's hope that doesn't take too long.
