Android Q: Google is testing notification bubbles
The first came out last week Android Q developer beta. And even though we have already reported on it in detail, one feature has so far remained undiscovered.
Many of you readers are sure to use Facebook Messenger on Android. When a new message arrives there, a small "bubble" appears on the screen. Once clicked on it, it expands and you can see the chat with the person who sent you a message. Something like this could now also find its way into Android Q.
So far it can only be activated via ADB
The people of 9to5Google managed to activate such notification bubbles system-wide on their Pixel 3 XL with Android Q with the help of ADB. If a message is received, it is placed on a small pile that can be opened by simply tapping. You can then proceed with the notifications from there. According to 9to5Google, Google has been working on this feature for some time. So it is entirely possible that we will see it for the first time in Q.
