Within the Google I/O Google published the third beta of Android Q. As a result, it is now known which devices from Huawei and Honor will support the final version.

Huawei posted a poster on Weibo with the devices that will get the final version of Android Q. That belongs to this group Mate 20which Mate 20 Prowhich Mate 20X, Mate 20RS, the P30, the P30 Pro, the Honor View 20 and the Honor Magic 2. Because there are very few models, I assume that more will be added here.

Further performance improvements?

Huawei has never been that good when it comes to the operating system. Most of the time, the software is very crowded with partly unnecessary features, which means that the operating speed suffers quite a bit. This is due, among other things, to things like the pre-installation of Booking and the native "Spiegel" app. With Android 9 and EMUI 9 In my opinion, the OEM took a big step in the right direction, as everything, including the very confusing system settings, was simplified a little. The performance is still not quite perfect. However, I believe that Huawei has found the right way with the current software version and will continue to do so in the future. Wait until Android Q is then activated towards the end of the third quarter.
