Apple's AirPower has had a long history. The Apple Wireless Charger was shown for the iPhone X in 2017 and has not been released since then. Since the beginning of the year there have been new rumors about the loading mat. Now everything seems to be pointing to an imminent launch, TechnikNews experienced the price exclusively.
Update: The price seems to be for the never released 2018 version. We apologize for this mistake, but are still keeping the article online.
At this point, many thanks to the YouTuber "tech check“Who sent us the information.
Not much is known about the new version of the charger. Apple showed the charger at its keynote in 2017 with a short demonstration, which allowed the simultaneous charging of an iPhone, AirPods and an Apple Watch. As soon as a new device was placed on the mat, the iPhone displayed the device's charge level.
In 2018, shortly after the iPhone XS keynote, Apple removed all references to AirPower from its website. According to reports at the time, Apple was having problems with the temperature management of the devices. Since then, there have been repeated references, even AirPods (Gen2) were delivered with an AirPower silhouette.

In March 2019, Apple officially stated, "After great effort, we concluded that AirPower would not meet our high standards, so we canceled the project."
Apple AirPower: New Advances
Now, in 2020, the project seems to have picked up speed again. The renowned Apple "leaker" Jon Prosser reported on new prototypes and "breakthroughs in development". Things have been rather quiet around Apple's project in recent months, but Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has repeatedly hinted at a possible launch of a "less ambitious" wireless charger. TechnikNews has now been leaked the price of Apple's new charging mat.
We are very careful when it comes to Apple leaks, but in cooperation with "tech check“We already have successful prices for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy buds live released.
