Apple Studio Display presented: Cheaper and more features than Pro DisplayXDR

Matching MacStudio Apple also introduced a new monitor today: the Apple Studio Display. What it compared to Pro You can read Display XDR here.

Visually, the Studio Display looks almost like the current iMac. It is made of aluminum and has a 27-inch display with a resolution of 5K and 14,7 million pixels. The display is only available in the silver variant, with the accessories (keyboard and mouse) there is a choice between two different colors, silver and black. There should also be a version of the monitor with a specially coated glass that prevents reflections from light. The maximum brightness is 500 nits. You can set up the display in three different ways. Once with a height-adjustable or rotatable and once with a VESA adapter.

Apple Studio Display comes with smart features

The slightly older A13-Proprocessor plugged in. As a result, the device supports some cool features, such as center stage for video calls. There are also three microphones and six speakers with spatial audio for Dolby Atmos. On the back are three USB-C with 10 gigabits pro Find second and a Thunderbolt connector. The latter can use a MacBook Pro charge quickly with 96 watts.

Prices and availability

The new Apple Studio Display is available to pre-order today and will be available March 18th. The price is 1.749 euros in the variant with standard glass and 1.999 for the nano-textured glass.
