Apple Watch SE 2022 is official: slimmed down Series 8 at a reasonable price

With the Apple Watch SE 2022, Apple completes the trio of Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra. The SE will continue to be the entry-level smartwatch from Apple, which comes with stripped-down functions but a reasonable price.
From the expensive one apple watch ultra and the "normal" Apple Watch Series 8, it will be cheaper with the new Apple Watch SE 2022. As usual, there is no new number on the SE-Watch, just the year of publication behind the model name. So it could happen that the outdated Apple Watch SE is still available online or in stores without realizing it.

Apple Watch Series 8 minus extra features
The Apple Watch SE 2022 is essentially the Apple Watch Series 8, minus some extra features. For the lower price of from 249 euros to 399 euros, innovations such as a temperature sensor and some colors are omitted.
As we already know from the predecessor, ECG and blood oxygen measurement are not on board. As with the Series 8, the battery life is said to be up to 18 hours, but there is no quick charge here. The always-on display is also not included.
The color of the Apple Watch SE 2022 is silver, midnight and starlight. Interested parties can from today on the Apple website grab it, GPS + Cellular is available from 349 euros and GPS-only from 299 euros. Will be delivered from September 16, 2022.
