Apple watchOS 8: More relaxation, nicer watch faces and a new photos app

The new features in Apple watchOS 8 aren't fundamental, but they do some things better. Apple unveiled the new operating system for the Apple Watch at WWDC 2021 today.
All new functions in watchOS 8 revolve around your own health again this time. There is a fresh breathing app that comes with new animations. With "Reflect" you can review your day with relaxation exercises and food for thought right from the watch. This should ensure more positive emotions.

Another big chunk of fitness is the new feature called Breaths pro minutes. This value should ideally be fairly constant on average over a period of months. Nicer watch faces, new photos app
The portraits recorded on the iPhone are finally displayed in full on the Apple Watch. By turning the crown, there are now animations in portraits, which now emphasize the recorded person even more and make the picture livelier. In addition, the photos app has been revamped and gives it the familiar iPhone functions such as memory highlights, feature photos, and mosaic layout view, and it is now possible to share pictures directly on the watch.
