If the drone is sold without CE certification - that is an indictment for DJI.
4 months after the EU regulations came into force, DJI still does not have a CE-certified drone to offer. What that means? If you buy such a drone, you can only use it to a very limited extent from January 1.1.2023, XNUMX. If you want to sell them - you will have an enormous loss of value. And even worse: does the liability insurance pay in the event of damage? I do not think so. Because the drone and the remote control do not have a CE. You could then sue DJI - have fun with China.
I am certainly not buying a new drone that is not certified according to the new EU guidelines.

There's even a hands-on video now (from someone who doesn't really seem to have a clue about it). It's getting really embarrassing, they should just secretly publish them like Apple ... really makes no sense to teaser too much.
This is DJI, not a small garage company, how can you screw it up every time.

Will the drone also be C1 certified for Europe? Otherwise, after the transition period, you could only fly these in A3.

XYZ

That was not the question. It's about classification. Not about the reference point.

Arne

Today's DJI teaser email has the slogan 'Get ready for the 1'. Could be a play on words for the 1 ″ sensor and - fingers crossed - also the C1 certification. 😉

ReDrohni

According to the EU regulation, the classification must also be printed on the packaging. If I see that correctly in the pictures, unfortunately that is not the case. I was very much hoping for it.

Michael

But that could also be due to the fact that the packaging and the drone are not European.

ReDrohni

As is well known, hope dies last. I also cling to every straw. Since the CE mark is printed on the packaging, I assume that this is also the packaging that is used for the EU market. And then the (e.g.) C1 classification is missing. It's a shame, but - from DJI's point of view - economically sensible
