With the DJI Mini 2 SE, the manufacturer should soon be launching a cheaper alternative to the Mini 2. Now she appeared in pictures for the first time.

Even though DJI drones are generally not among the cheapest of their kind, proThe manufacturer tries to make the range more accessible with different price points. To the cheaper ones Products is the Mini series, of which the Mini 3 and the Mini 3 Pro the current models are. At the same time, the Mini SE is a slimmed-down alternative. This is to be replaced in the near future by a successor, the DJI Mini 2 SE. Pictures of this have now appeared.

DJI Mini 2 SE: photos including packaging and specs

The pictures show immediately that the Mini 2 SE looks almost the same as the Mini 2. There are also several similarities in the technical data, which is visible on the packaging. The drone weighs less than 249 grams, has a maximum flight time of 31 minutes with one battery charge and the maximum range should be 10 kilometers. You have to make compromises with the camera, here you only get a 2,7K resolution instead of 4K.

In terms of costs, it is of course to be expected that the Mini 2 SE will be below the starting price of the Mini 2. This was 2020 euros in November 488, while the "Fly More" combo cost 584 euros.
