Review - that's what "13 Reasons Why" is all about
In the first season you roll up the story - the main character is the 17-year-old student Hannah Baker, played by Katherine Langford. She takes her own life - in order to "justify" the matter for the bereaved, she records 13 tapes with 13 reasons. Each of these is about a person or a thing, which is why she took her own life. The cassettes each get their best friends, almost every one of them is also mentioned by name on these. But it quickly becomes clear who most obviously led the student to this decision.
Bryce Walker (played by Justin Prentice) raped the schoolgirl in season 1 - he is also the most important thing in season three.
Brief insight into the 3rd season of "13 Reasons Why"
Season 3 starts with a message: Bryce Walker has been killed. In revenge for getting off scot-free after more than one rape?
In the third season you turn the whole picture around and focus more on the death of Bryce Walker in a crime-thriller-like narrative. Who killed him? Was it out of revenge? Was it planned?
The main suspect for the police is Hannah's best friend Clay (Dylan Minnette). With his statements to Bryce with: "The whole damned world is a better place without him" and clear anger against him, he has made himself suspicious. But a new person, called Ani, may also come into question here. She appears for the first time in season 3 and must have broken the law in the past. As she said during interrogation, Bryce probably hurt Jessica the most. But what secret is she hiding?
Let's leave it here - it's best to continue looking for yourself from now on. We don't want to spoil too much. You can find the series on Netflix here.
