Essential Phone: Coming Soon?

Image: Essential

Two years ago, Android founder Andy Rubin and a small team brought the Essential Phone on the market. Since then it has been quiet about the manufacturer - until now.

On September 5, 2018, a user reported on Twitter how much he loved his Essential Phone and how much he would like a successor. Yesterday, June 11, 2019, Andy Rubin, the CEO of Essential and Android founder, responded. He writes that an announcement will follow soon and we should stay tuned. As well as Android Policewho wrote about this tweet first, I think Rubin's response suggests a successor to the Essential Phone. After all, it's pretty uncommon for people like Andy Rubin to just reply like that to a tweet that's nine months old. In addition, the season would coincide with the launch of the first generation. We stay excited.
