Firefox: Well-known browser now also available for iOS

Probably almost every known browser Firefox is now also available for iOS, i.e. iPhone and iPad, for download. The browser for Android has been around for a long time free of charge in the Google Play Store.

For some time, Firefox has been working intensively on the release of the browser. Before that, there were numerous beta versions that were made available for a few in English-speaking countries or were available for individual German-speaking users in Austria. Since the mobile browser has only been available in the App Store since today and is still difficult to find, we have the direct one Download link to "Internet Browser Firefox" (download from the App Store). You can use the browser from iOS 8.2, of course newer versions are also supported. As of iOS 9, you can then use several functions, such as incognito mode or private surfing.

Firefox on iOS is not yet fully developed

At the moment the browser looks pretty slimmed down, but this should be done shortly, according to the developers, change: over time, more and more functions for Firefox will follow. Of course, since the app is currently still in version 1.1, bugs or other errors may occur every now and then. Currently, Firefox does not have a good surfing performance compared to other competitors - but this should probably change in a few weeks.

In addition, Firefox is currently still struggling with major competitors such as Apple's own iOS browser Safari, Google Chrome and Opera. It is already possible to synchronize settings, history and cookies, open tabs, bookmarks and saved passwords across multiple devices. All you have to do is have a Firefox account and be logged in to it on all devices.
