Firefox Send: New sharing service from Mozilla
Mozilla is pretty well known for the Firefox browser. Now they released a file sharing service called Firefox Send.
The tests for Firefox Send lasted around two years until Mozilla released the service to the public yesterday. It was decided against apps for Android and iOS and only offers a web interface. The advantage of this is that Firefox Send can be used with any platform. If you do not log in with your Firefox account, the maximum possible file size is one gigabyte. If you log in, this limit is raised to 2,5 gigabytes.
Focus on security
Mozilla attached great importance to security at Send. It starts with the uploading of files. Here you can select as the sender, after which period of time the link becomes invalid for the recipient. You can also specify how often the file can be downloaded before the link is discarded. In addition, access to the files can be protected with a personalized password. Firefox Send is out now here available.
