The date for the Google I / O 2017 was announced today. We expect, among other things, Android 8.0 and exciting things about the Google Assistant.

The traditional big keynote from Google will take place again this year. Instead of a simple announcement, Google came up with something special this year. For thinkers, Google has it on this side put together a riddle. This reveals the date of the keynote from Google. Like last year, Google chose the Shoreline Amphitheater as the venue. Here, developers can watch the keynote in the open air - provided the weather is right. The exact time is not yet known - we will soon find out in an announcement from Google.

Google I / O 2017: Android 8.0 is presented

As a big highlight, Google will officially introduce Android 17 O from May 19th to May 8.0th. This should offer smarter notifications and better performance. Here, too, Google will look for a suitable name for its operating system. Traditionally for a candy - on Android 8.0 starting with O.

The Google Assistant should not be neglected at the Google I / O 2017 either. The focus of this keynote will be the AI research of the Google Assistant. In addition, Google's apps such as YouTube, Maps and Gmail are traditionally paying attention again. We don't yet know more about the process of the Google Keynote. On the I / O event page there is currently only the note "Check back soon for more details."

We will inform you as soon as we know more.

Hopefully Gmail will finally get a facelift on the desktop. This dusty design is no longer possible. Yes, I know there is an inbox, but not everyone wants it and I still think the classic Gmail account is far better.
