The Google Home Hub has been known for a long time. Now the Google Nest Hub has been presented. This is now also coming to Germany.

Visually, the Nest Hub cannot be distinguished from last year's Home Hub at all. Both devices look identical at the front as well as at the rear. The specifications of the display are also the same: seven inches and HD resolution. A dedicated ambient light sensor ensures that the panel always shines with the right brightness.

Smart display with Google Assistant through and through

As you already know from the smart displays from Google, the Google Assistant is also on board. You wake them up with the familiar phrase "Hey, Google!" or "Ok, Google!". Then you can bombard the assistant with every conceivable request. Alternatively, music, videos or smart home devices can be controlled via the Android Things operating system. Apropos Smart Home: The Google Nest Hub supports all common gadgets, such as the Philips Hue lights or even Nest cameras. What a surprise.

The Google Nest Hub will be coming to Germany at the end of May at a price of 128 euros. At the same time, Google presented the Nest Hub Max, which will not come onto the German market for the time being.
