If your own bank supports one of the services, you can activate it via the banking app. After that, all you have to do is hold your smartphone or smartwatch up to the NFC terminal at a cash register. Google Pay in Austria: Five banks are involved
Mastercard is now offering Google Pay in cooperation with a total of five banks. N26, Revolut, Curve, Monese and Viva Wallet are included. After a successful setup, you can pay immediately with an Android smartphone or a smartwatch with Wear OS. A connection to the internet or an open banking app is not necessary.
