Google Pixel 4a: pictures, details, price and specs known
The Google Pixel 4a will be the successor to the very popular Google Pixel 3a. The smartphone kept showing up and going down again. After the 4a on Thursday by the American FCC approved became, has TechnikNews now get more information about the device confirmed.
According to the well-informed YouTuber "tech check"The Pixel 4a should keep its name and should not - as many suspect - be renamed to a" Pixel 5a ". According to him, this would not make sense either, since the device is ready for publication - i.e. the marketing, the software and the packaging are ready. Why should Google do it all over again?
Colors and hardware
In addition, there should be two colors of the Google Pixel 4a: "Just Black" and "Blue". At least in Germany there should only be two colors, for other markets there could be another color. This is not uncommon for Google, as some Proproducts only in America or only one color comes to Europe.
We don't have any concrete details on the specifications apart from the memory, but the device is rumored to be the Snapdragon 730 Proprocessor with 4 GB of RAM. A 5,81-inch full HD+ OLED display is to be used as the display. An 8MP front camera is supposed to sit in the punch hole on the upper left edge of the display and a 12,2 MP wide-angle camera on the back. The 3.080 mAh battery is to be recharged with 18W. The smartphone is not supposed to support 5G – support for it would increase the price again. 5G is not yet available in most parts of the world.
Price and launch date
The device will only be available in a 128 GB version and will come onto the German market at an RRP of 449 euros. According to him this is a provisional Price, which can change. We do not consider it unrealistic, however. July 7th is currently listed as the launch date; this date can still change.
So it remains exciting about the Pixel 4a, maybe the launch will work this time. There will be no Pixel 4a XL after him. There were signs of this a long time ago, but Google seems to have crushed its big brother.
