HTC One M9 Plus officially presented
The HTC One M25 was only presented on March 9th. Now HTC has as announced, hosted an event today to unveil a new model of the One M9: the One M9 Plus.
The new smartphone is larger, has a higher resolution and has a fingerprint sensor as a new feature, with which you can unlock the smartphone with your finger. The smartphone is now almost a phablet with its 5,2 inch display.
The new smartphone measures exactly 5,2 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is actually very sharp. The HTC One M9 only has 1920 x 1080 pixels with a 5-inch display. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio X10 MT6595T octa-coreProcessor, instead of an octa-core Snapdragon Proprocessor, with 3 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 32 GB (although expandable with a micro SD card), exactly the same as the HTC One M9. The camera has 20 megapixels and 4 megapixels on the front.
The new HTC is available in gray, silver and gold, unfortunately it has not yet been announced for Europe. Prices and exact dates when the new smartphone will be launched were not yet mentioned in the event.
