HTC sent out an invitation on Twitter for a new device at IFA 2018 in Berlin. The “U” in the invitation suggests a new smartphone.

The IFA starts next week in Berlin. One day before the official start of the trade fair, on August 30th, HTC could present a new smartphone. There have been rumors for a long time that the HTC U12 Life could be presented at the IFA. This now appears to be the case.

HTC U12 Life: mid-range smartphone outlined

The page NieuweMobil had already published a sketch at that time, which could fit on the HTC U12 Life. HTC's Life models traditionally represent mid-range smartphones. That HTC U12 +, the current flagship, was introduced a few months ago.

It is therefore quite likely that we will see a smartphone with Android One here at IFA. There were also assumptions that HTC should show a blockchain smartphone, which I don't really believe.

We are represented at the HTC keynote and will give you the news here as soon as possible TechnikNews reveal. So we stay excited and look forward to the keynote.
