Xiaomi works increasingly with Huami and brings the Amazfit wearables onto the market with the company. The latest model is called Huami Amazfit Smart Watch 2 and even has an EKG function.
The display diagonal of the AMOLED touchscreen of the Amazfit Smart Watch 2 is 1,39 inches and has a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. The watch is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2500 and 512 megabytes of RAM. The 420 mAh battery keeps the smartwatch alive.
With ECG function
One version of the Huami Amazfit Smart Watch 2 even comes with some fitness and health features. The watch automatically recognizes sports such as running, walking or cycling and saves them in Xiaomi's Mi Fit app. GPS and some other sensors collect relevant data. The same configuration also comes with an ECG function that records electrocardiograms with a 97-proto record centenary accuracy.
Prices and availability
It is currently not yet clear whether the new smartwatch will ever come to us in Europe. So far, however, it has always been the case that the Amazfit models appeared on Amazon over time. In China, the version without EKG and fitness functions costs the equivalent of 129 euros at market launch. For the execution with an EKG, Huami wants the equivalent of 167 euros.
