Huawei: Interaction with US companies allowed for 90 days

Huawei is on a blacklist in the US, which means that US companies are no longer allowed to interact with the group. This ban has now been temporarily lifted.

Huawei has been on a so-called “entity list” in the USA since Thursday. As a result, all companies with a location in the USA are prohibited from doing business with the manufacturer from China. This means that Google had to revoke the official Android license and Intel did not Processors may provide more for the laptops. We tested einige of that already.

For the time being out of force

The Department of Commerce suspended this lock for the time being, for 90 days to be precise. This means that suppliers are still allowed to deliver the current orders from Huawei. In addition, Google is allowed to provide new versions of Android during this period. Now Huawei has a little time to look for alternatives. What will happen in three months is in the stars.

Ridiculous action from the USA. But now we know how dependent we are on them.
