The Huawei Mate X sore Xs were the first two foldables from Huawei, which also appeared in Germany. Now there is a successor, the Huawei Mate X2.

Huawei will present the successor to the Huawei Mate X, the Huawei Mate X22, on February 2nd. The first teaser for a presentation event has now been published in China spread, but the global Huawei accounts have remained silent so far. It could therefore well be that the device will not be launched outside of China for the time being. It would also make sense, as Huawei has had only moderate success outside of China without Google services and is therefore more of a niche product. Technically, the device will still be well positioned; the first Mate X was very promising despite its infancy problems.

The first teaser doesn't reveal much about the design or the technical equipment. We can only be sure on February 22nd, when the device is officially presented.
