IFA 2018: Motorola shows Amazon Alexa in your pocket

Motorola has long been known for its mods. But now Motorola is presenting an Amazon Alexa Mod at the IFA 2018 in Berlin. But what does the new mod have to offer? I have him off for a momentprobeers.

Motorola has been using mods for its latest flagships for a while. Among them there were speakers for sound like from a jukebox or a camera extension. Now, however, the manufacturer offers a mod called the Amazon Alexa Mod.

What is the Amazon Alexa Mod?

We know the Amazon Echo with Alexa - a loudspeaker that is in the room and reacts to our commands. But after all, this is only connected to our home network. Amazon and Motorola have worked together and launched a mod for the Motorola One.

What can I do with this mod?

You don't have to do anything other than plug the mod into your Motorola One. The smartphone then recognizes that you have connected the Amazon Alexa Mod. Now you can use Alexa as an “external” loudspeaker which, like the Amazon echoes, listens to “Alexa” and also works like the Google Assistant or Siri when you are on the go.

How is the mod loaded?

The battery is charged with a micro-USB cable, which should provide around 15 hours of operation at full power.

What advantages does Alexa “to go” offer me?

You are a total Amazon Alexa fan and do not want to do without this service anywhere, then this mod in connection with the Motorola One is just right for you. So you always have Alexa with you in your pocket.
