iOS 13.4: CarKey feature discovered in software beta

Yesterday Apple released the first beta of iOS 13.4. In addition to some small innovations, references to a feature called "CarKey" were found deeper in the system.
The source found a reference to an API (developer interface) called "CarKey" in the iOS 13.4 beta. With CarKey you should be able to unlock your own car - provided it has an NFC reader - with the iPhone or Apple Watch. To do this, the user stores a digital copy of the car key in the wallet app. An app from the manufacturer should also be required for the initial setup. Unlocking the car should in principle be possible without Face ID or Touch ID, but this can be changed in the wallet. Apple also implemented a key sharing function, which means that family members, for example, can easily gain access.
It seems that CarKey is already finished, but Apple is still looking for manufacturers to jump on the bandwagon. The function will probably only appear final in later versions of the iPhone software.
