Tonight Apple released the new iPhone 11 along with the iPhone 11 Pro (Max) out of the bag. The former replaces the iPhone XR – the Pro-Model represents the real XS successor. We have all the details.
It's been a year since Apple did that iPhone XR and iPhone XS (Max) presented. Now, as usual, it was time for a successor, which has been presented today. As expected, there are a total of three new iPhones. The older models iPhone XR and iPhone 8 remain in the range.

The iPhone 11 comes with a 6,1-inch LCD display, which has a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels at 326 ppi. As with the predecessor, this is a so-called "True Tone Display", which is supposed to display colors even more clearly. As already suspected, 3D touch is also no longer on board. At the Proprocessor is based on the A13 Bionic chip, which is faster than all the others Proprocessors and should bring more battery life. The new chip should last an hour longer than the iPhone XR.
As always, there are no details about the RAM, but about the internal memory: this comes with 64, 128 and 256 GB. The front of the camera has a 12 megapixel lens with f / 2.2 aperture. In terms of quality, it should be pretty similar to that of the iPhone XR - so not that much has changed. The biggest innovation is on the back: Here we find the rearranged dual camera with ultra wide angle (f / 2.4; 120 °) and wide angle lens (f / 1.8). Optical zooming is possible up to 2x, videos in 4K up to 60 fps.
Something has also changed with the battery: there is finally an 18W power supply included, which charges the iPhone to 30% in 50 minutes. Wireless charging is also possible. Unfortunately, there is no USB-C port this year. The iPhone 11 will be shipped from September 20th at a price of 799 euros (64 GB) up to 969 euros (256 GB) on the Apple website. The colors available are white, black, green, yellow, purple and red.

Let's venture over the 1000 euro mark and come to the iPhone 11 Pro. This comes with a 5,8 or 6,5 inch display with a resolution of 2436 x 1125 or 2688 x 1242 pixels on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both get the usual Super Retina XDR display with HDR again. The new A13 chip is also located under the hood. The memory sizes are 64, 256 and 512 GB to choose from.
The biggest difference to the iPhone XS isn't really the specs, but rather the weight. This is for the iPhone 11 Pro Max now 226 g or 188 g for the iPhone 11 Pro. The smartphones are no longer necessarily lightweights - the iPhone 8 Plus weighs around 202 g. A lot has happened here. Well - let's move on.
Now with a triple camera
The camera has a 12 megapixel camera with f / 2.2 aperture on the front. The biggest innovation is on the back, where we find the new triple camera. This comes with ultra wide angle (f / 2.4 aperture and 120 ° field of view), wide angle (f / 1.8 aperture) and telephoto lens (f / 2.0 aperture). Up to 2x optical zooming and 10x digital zooming is possible here - if you zoom in on a video, for example, the zoomed-in object is made louder. Films and videos thus appear even more detailed. The night mode is said to have increased significantly compared to its predecessor.
Speaking of increased: the battery has also increased. This should be at the 11 Pro now up to 4 hours longer than the iPhone XHold S and on the 11th Pro Max up to 5 hours longer than the iPhone XS Max. Wireless and fast charging (50% in 30 minutes) is also possible here. The software will also be based on iOS 13, which will be rolled out on September 20th, just in time for the market launch.
The iPhone 11 Pro is priced between 1.149 euros for 64 GB and 1.549 euros for 512 GB. The Max model is even better and is available at a price of 1.249 euros (64 GB) and 1.649 euros (512 GB).
