iPhone 11: With 18 watt charger included?
The rumor mill about the imminent iPhone 11 keeps seething. There are now new assumptions about the scope of delivery, for the first time this should include an 18-watt charger.
With the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X, Apple introduced fast charge support for the company's mobile phones for the first time in 2017. Strangely enough, the packaging was still packed with the long-known 5-watt power supply, which (for the ignorant) is much weaker and miles away from fast charging. That could change with the iPhone 11.
Finally!!
To date from fast charging speeds with an iPhone proTo be able to fit, you needed the Power Delivery adapter and a USB-C to Lightning cable from Apple itself, which costs over 50 euros. And even if cheap and, above all, usable alternatives can be found on the Internet, Apple could have simply included the right plug from the start. Well, it now seems like the company has come to their senses with the iPhone 11.
The very latest rumors are that the iPhone 11 most likely an 18 watt power pack will be included. Whether it's the same as for the iPad Pro will be, one does not yet know. Because this adapter has USB-C, users would have to carry one less cable with them. Win-win for everyone, right? Let's wait and see if these assumptions turn out to be true in September.
