Lenovo introduced the Moto Z2 Force about a month ago. The release did not take place in Europe for the time being. Now the company has it next to that Moto X4 Taken to IFA 2017 in Berlin. The smartphone with the Shattershield display can do that.

Housing

The Moto Z2 Force is also made of aluminum and is very thin. That's why we can't find a jack port. The back of the device looks pretty similar to the other Moto Z devices. This means that in addition to the connectors for the Moto Mods, we will also find the camera hill there, which is supposed to hold the Mods in position. The camera in the Z2 Force is the same as in the X4, a dual camera.

The display on the front is 5,5 inches, an AMOLED panel and has a Quad HD + resolution. In addition, you shouldn't break it, which provides information about the name of the device. Lenovo calls this display Shattershield Display. In addition to the usual things, there is only the fingerprint sensor on the front. You can optionally assign gestures to navigate through the UI.

Specs: Definitely the flagship!

The Z2 Force is currently the flagship in Lenovo's portfolio. Therefore, the Snapdragon 835 from Qualcomm was installed here. It is supported by 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The latter should be done with a microSD card procan easily expand. The device's battery has a capacity of 2730mAh and can be quickly recharged with Lenovo's Turbo Power.

Camera

Lenovo installs a dual camera in their latest flagship. Both sensors have a resolution of 12MP and a focal length of f / 2.0, which means that this camera will do less well in poor light. One of the camera's sensors takes color images, the second sensor only detects black and white details in the image. After triggering, the software combines the images from both sensors, which is why results are produced with more details overall. The front camera has a weak 5MP resolution and can capture everything at an angle of 85 degrees.

With the camera software you can also create a bokeh effect in your pictures, as well as create pictures in which the object in the foreground is colored and the background remains black and white. We already know that from Moto X4.

Software: As we know it from Lenovo

Android 2 will be installed ex works on the Moto Z7.1 Force. In addition, buyers get the Moto Launcher. A commitment for an Android 8.0 Oreo update should also be given. However, this will only reach the devices in the first quarter of the coming year. Nothing was installed as bloatware except the Moto Action app. This makes it possible, for example, to start the device's flashlight by double hooking it.

The Lenovo Moto Z2 Force will be available in black and gold at an RRP of € 799. The exact date for a release is not yet known, but this should take place soon.
