LG G5: Android 7.0 available now

Android 7.0 has been rolled out for LG G5 devices since Tuesday. This update makes the LG G5 one of the first smartphones to feature Android Nougat.
The LG V20 was the first smartphone with Android 7, even if it wasn't in Germany. LG is one of the companies that provides quick updates for their devices.
Germany, Austria and Switzerland have to be patient
Even if LG is one of the faster companies, the Germans still have to wait. Customers in South Korea will be the first to receive the LG G5 Android 7 update. It shouldn't be ready in the next week either, but then probably in the week after next. In the next week Android 7 won't be available until North America, Asia and other parts of the world.
Older LG smartphones may not receive an update
LG did not comment on the release for the LG G4 or other, older smartphones that should receive the software update. But it is certain and is even certain that the LG G5 will receive Android 7. All users for whom an update is available will be notified via notification.
