LOVOO deactivates accounts: Dating platform puts an end to users under the age of 18

The dating platform LOVOO, which is also interesting for minors, announced a major change today. From October accounts of users under the age of 18 will be deleted. For now they will be deactivated. They say you have to stick to new rules.
Some may have already used them themselves: dating apps. There is not only LOVOO here, Parship, Tinder & Co. are also very common on the market. With the exception of LOVOO, none of the apps were for young people - they are only released from the age of 18. Well do too LOVE closed for underage users. From now on, all accounts under this age limit will be deactivated – until the end of October. If you are not 18 years old by then, it will be permanently deleted. Until the deletion you have time, its complete Proto request fildaten according to the GDPR - corresponding purchases or subscriptions will also be automatically refunded. If you turn 18 after this point, you have to create a new account.
LOVOO kicks underage users of the platform: New rules from the end of October
In general, it will end on October 22, 2019 for underage users. The reason for the change are new rules that must be adhered to, is stated in the broadcast. Corresponding dating apps and platforms are often criticized: exploiting the trust of minors happens more often than you think. Also corresponding cyberbullying Blackmail (be sure to read our column) is an issue on such platforms. Only this month was in Güterslohe a 21 year old in courtbecause he blackmailed young women on LOVOO, among other things.
So it is quite a job for platforms to prevent these cases through moderation. The effort and criticism have now become too great to have to take this step. Up to now, the app could be used from the age of 14. Whether that is justifiable or was it? Everyone here has their own opinion. My personal opinion: this step was good - but also setting the limit to 16 years would have been a good option to offer young people a platform. Nevertheless, it should have been a business for LOVOO (premium subscription).

The youth in our society are increasingly and systematically desexualized, which contradicts the biological reality. Does anyone remember the times when there were still teenage girls to be admired in Playboy and no one was so brainwashed that they thought it was "perverted"? Older women with young boys are highly praised, but adult men with a young girlfriend are demonized, which is more in line with classic biological behavior. And you wonder why the birth rate is falling ?!
Since I know such a case personally, I can tell you that this form of sexuality, which incidentally comes from the Latin word perversus (twisted), does not exactly come from the socially recognized side of society, if you understand what I mean.
