Microsoft event in October 2018: Surface Pro 6, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Studio 2 and Surface Headphones

As announced, the Microsoft event in New York took place yesterday. There were next to the Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2 introduced a new generation of Surface Studio. All information.

Surface Pro 6

The Surface Pro 6 looks the same as its predecessors, as expected. There is only one new black color variant, which admittedly looks really good. On the downside, there's no USB-C port or Thunderbolt port, although the Surface Go and Surface Book 2 predate the Surface Pro 6 were announced to have one. The PixelSense display supports the Surface Pen as usual and is 12,3 inches in size. Inside, in every configuration, four-core IntelProeighth generation processors. 2 Laptop Surface

The Surface Laptop 2 also looks confusingly similar to its predecessor. And here, too, there is now a black color option. Only the keyboard has been revised, which should now make typing quieter and easier. Same as the Surface Pro 6, the Surface Laptop 2 also doesn't have a USB-C port. The IntelProprocessors with four eighth-generation cores that power the Surface Laptop 2 are supported by up to 16 gigabytes of RAM. The battery should keep this interaction alive for 14,5 hours. The Surface Laptop can be pre-ordered now at a price of 1149 euros.

Surface Studio 2

The Surface Studio 2 is said to be the "fastest Surface ever". This is supposed to be the new graphics chip from Nvidia, the 50th generation Prozent should offer more graphic power, make possible. There is also a two-terabyte SSD and the eighth-generation Intel Core i7 with 16 gigabytes of RAM. Visually, everything remains identical to the predecessor. The display is 28 inches in size again, but now brighter and with higher contrast. The Surface Studio 2 can be pre-ordered for $3499.

Surface Headphones

The Surface Headphones are over-ear headphones and the first headphones ever in the Surface range. They support their own voice assistant Cortana and a thirteen-step ANC (Noice-Canceling). To control playback, there is a touchpad on the right side of the headphones. A special feature are the two rotating rings that are located next to the two ear cushions. Turning the right wheel changes the volume and turning the left wheel adjusts noise canceling. Microsoft has not yet announced a price for the Surface Headphones.

In addition to the new SurfaceProucts announced that the Windows 10 October 2018 Update is now available for download. Among other things, this brings with it a new cloud clipboard and support for the new app called Your Phone. This app is also available now and enables the smartphone to be controlled via the PC.
