[last updated on Thursday, April 19.04.2018th, 18 at 54:19 pm] On April 6th, the smartphones of the Moto GXNUMX series will be presented. Now, as before pretty much every release of a new smartphone, rumors and first press photos about the new devices have surfaced.

Updates

Update from April 19.04.2018, 18 at 54:XNUMX pm

As predicted, today, April 19th, the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus were unveiled. All three smartphones have a display with an aspect ratio of around 2: 1 or 18: 9. The Moto G6 Play is 5,7 inches tall and has a resolution of only 720p. The displays of the other two devices are a bit sharper with 1080p, whereby that of the Moto G6 is also 5,7 inches and that of the Moto G6 Plus 5,9 inches.

The Proprocessors in all three phones are from Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 6 was installed in the G427 Play, the Snapdragon 6 works in the Moto G450 and the Moto G6 Plus houses the Snapdragon 630. When it comes to storage, you get 16GB or 32GB with 2GB or 3GB RAM in the Moto G6 Play, in the Moto G6 it is 32GB or 64GB with 3GB or 4GB RAM and storage for the Moto G6 Plus ranges from 64GB to 128GB with 4GB or 4GB RAM.

The sizes of the batteries range from a capacity of 4000mAh in the Play model to a 3200mAh battery in the normal G6 to a 3000mAh battery in the Plus model. Except for the G6 Play, whose camera has a resolution of 13MP at f / 2.0, all devices have a dual camera. The cameras in the other two devices have a resolution of 12MP and 5MP respectively, in the plus model at f / 1.7, in the base model G6 at f / 1.8.

In terms of price, we only know that the Moto G6 Play will cost $ 199, the Moto G6 will cost $ 249 and the Moto G6 Plus will cost € 299. The euro prices for the first two models will be delivered as soon as possible.

Different color variants

The pictures for the tweet by Ishan Agarwal are probably leaked press material on which the Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus can be seen. According to this, the Moto G6 should appear in black, silver, rose gold and turquoise. The Moto G6 Play should only be available in gold and turquoise. With the Moto G6 Plus, it is not yet entirely clear which colors will ultimately be available. There are leaks claiming that we will also see the Plus model in gold and turquoise, while others say that there will be a white, a blue and a silver version of the options just mentioned.

Middle class specs in all three devices

This year all G series smartphones should again be mid-range devices, as we are used to from the past few years. The Moto G6 should be equipped with a Snapdragon 450 and 4GB RAM. A 32GB memory is available, the battery should, as in recent years, have a capacity of 3000mAh.

The Moto G6 Play will most likely again be the "worst" device in the range. With a Snapdragon 430 and 3GB of RAM, it will almost certainly be a bit underpowered than the standard G6. The memory is the same as in the aforementioned smartphone, but the battery could hold 4000mAh. The battery of the Huawei Mate 10 is the same size Pro and that of the Huawei P20 Pro, as a small comparison.

The best-equipped phone could again be the Plus model, more precisely, the Moto G6 Plus. With a Snapdragon 660, this device will most likely become a more powerful one Proprocessor than the other two smartphones have. With 6GB of RAM, multitasking shouldn't be a problem Problem be more. This device may also have a larger display.
