Motorola will launch its first Android 11 smartphones next year, and we already have that berichtet. Well has TechnikNews zusammen mit Adam conway Receive exclusive initial information on one of these smartphones, which is being developed under the code name "Nio".

The technical data point to a flagship, but we cannot yet verify whether it is a successor to the Edge series. Because what we can verify is that the device is very likely the current Snapdragon 865 Prozessor, along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There are also indications of a 12GB/256GB model, but we can't be 100% sure either Procent confirm. The display will have a Full HD+ (1080 × 2520) resolution, with a high refresh rate (min. 90Hz). We don't have a size yet.

Update: Photo of the front:

We now have a photo of the front, which we have edited for source protection (we have replaced the original background image for the software). The cameras will be arranged like the Moto g 5G Plus, only in "higher quality" and in other colors (Sky and Beryl).

We also have further information on the storage variants. The device will be available with 6 GB of RAM, 8 GB of RAM and 12 GB of RAM, with 128 GB or 256 GB.

The Motorola Nio's camera

As camera sensors, we have the following information; this could change because the device is still in an early phase.

The well-known OmniVision "OV64B" 64MP sensor is used as the main camera and has already been used in numerous devices such as the Moto G9 Power or plus used. The sensor, which will very likely be an ultra-wide angle sensor, also comes from OmniVision and is the 16MP "ov16a10" sensor. The third sensor on the back is the 2MP depth sensor, which goes by the name "ov02b1b".

On the front there are two cameras in a "cut-out", a 16 MP sensor (OV16A1Q) and an 8MP sensor from Samsung (S5K4H7), which are already used in numerous Sony smartphones. The device will support dual SIM and have the latest Android 11 on board. Ultimately, the Motorola Nio with the model number XT2125 will appear, very likely in Q1 2021.
