Motorola P30 copies iPhone X and Huawei P20 Pro: You can't be bolder
You could hardly believe your eyes when Motorola officially introduced the P30. This week the iPhone X and Huawei P20 baby appeared Pro. Motorola has now combined exactly these two smartphones. Somehow still pretty - all specs.
The Motorola P30 was presented at an event in China this week officially presented. Already at the beginning of this week there were quite a few leaks, which one iPhone X and P20 Pro-clone suggested. For us, the leak was rather unrealistic, but it has now materialized. On the front you will find the notch, with almost identical dimensions to those of the iPhone X. As with the iPhone X, all sensors and the loudspeaker are housed here. On the back, the dual camera is similar to that of the iPhone X, the colors are based on the idea of Huawei with the P20 Pro.
The iPhone X and P20 can do that Pro Maple
Aside from the somewhat "inspired" design, we now come to the details. The display is 6,2 inches and has a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. Inside the Motorola P30 is a Snapdragon 636, a mid-rangeProprocessor. All models come with 6GB of RAM. You can choose between 64 and 128GB of internal storage. This can be expanded to 256GB using a microSD card.
The front camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels – as an extra there is a front flash and AI features. The dual camera on the back has a resolution of 16 and 5 megapixels. The operating system is Android 8.0 Oreo – an update to Android 9 Pie is to follow. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh and offers a quick charge function. As with the P20 Pro you rely on Dolby Surround speakers here. Very cool: A 3,5mm headphone jack is also on board. The modern Bluetooth 5.0 is also installed.
Availability and prices
The smartphone should be available in China from September 15 for the equivalent of 270 euros. With the color variants you can choose between Aurora (blue gradient), Bright Black and Ice Jade White. There is no information about a release with us and how much the second model will cost.
At least they are not as brazen and screw up the Android like Samsung and Huawei ... 😉
