Netflix is testing a new categorization system: Collections

Netflix often tests new features that are supposed to help users find what they want to watch as quickly as possible. The latest attempt at this is called Collections.
TechCrunch writes that Netflix is currently testing the Collections feature in the iOS app with a small and randomly selected group of users. If you are one of the testers, you will see a new entry with the text "Collections" on the top right of the home page, where the button for your own watchlist is actually.
Netflix Collections: what is it?
The collections are a new system for categorizing content. These groups are then not called “Comedy” or “Action”, but rather, for example, “Just for a laugh”. The aim is to make it easier for users to find films or series based on their current mood. The titles for each category were even designed with experts from the service's creative team.

If you tap on a collection, the app first lists three elements of the category; if you tap on it again, you see everything that is in the collection. Personally, I like the animation that Netflix put in here. Netflix confirmed to the source that the new function was only being tested and it was not yet clear whether it would remain part of the streaming service.
