New tablets from Samsung: Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1
It's not even a year ago that Samsung presented the Galaxy Tab S4. And there is already a successor, the Galaxy Tab S5e. With the tablet, Samsung also showed the Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy Tab S5e is a little ahead of the Galaxy Tab A (2019) 10.1. The Snapdragon 670 from Qualcomm is used in the tablet. There is also four gigabytes of RAM, 64 gigabytes of storage and the latest Android Pie with Samsung's One UI user interface. In the new Tab A, "only" the Exynos 7904 comes with two gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of memory. Samsung also installed Android Pie and the current One UI as the operating system. This model also comes with “Kids Home”, which is a special environment for little tablet lovers.
Modernized design
Samsung noticeably improved the design compared to the predecessors of both new models. This is now more modern in both cases. The display edges have shrunk to a minimum, so that the navigation buttons have now been integrated into the OS. With the Galaxy Tab S5e, this frame around the touchscreen is only 8,7 millimeters wide, while with the Tab A it is a little wider when you look at it. I couldn't find an exact value. The touchscreen of the Tab S5e is 10,5 inches and has a resolution of 2.560 × 1.600 pixels. The 2019 Tab A diagonal is 10,1 inches. The number of pixels here is 1.920 × 1.200 pixels.
