Nokia: The Finns came to MWC 2018 with these smartphones

This year Nokia is one of the first companies to present new smartphones at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. This time there were four of them. All information.

Nokia 1: The entry-level device

The small Nokia 1 with its plastic back is Nokia's entry-level device. The display is 4,5 inches and has a resolution of 480×854 pixels. Also, it is based on IPS. The software uses Android Oreo Go, which was specially developed for less powerful smartphones. as ProThe Mediatek MT6737 MP with 8GB memory and 1GB RAM is used as processor. The battery is 2150mAh in size. The main camera has a weak 5MP resolution, the front camera only 2MP. The Nokia 1 is expected to be available from April at an RRP of €99.

The housing of the Nokia 6 is made of aluminum. The display is based on IPS and is 5,5 inches. It has a resolution of 1920 × 1080, i.e. Full HD Plus. Android One is used as the OS. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 630, the memory is 32GB and the RAM is 4GB. The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh. The main camera has a resolution of 16MP, the front camera with 8MP. The Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to go on sale in March at an RRP of € 279.

When it comes to the material for the Nokia 7 XL, the company relies on ceramics, which should make the smartphone very robust. The display has been installed in 18:9 format, it is 6 inches in size and has an OLED panel. The resolution is 2160×1080, i.e. Full HD Plus. The software is also based on Android One. as Prozessor comes the Snapdragon 660, which is supported by 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. A 3800mAh large battery is said to have a probe able to accompany you through the day without any problems. The front camera has a resolution of 16MP, the first sensor of the dual camera is 12MP at f/1.75 and the second sensor is 13MP at f/2.6. The Nokia 7 XL is expected to hit stores in March at an RRP of €400.

The Nokia 8 Scirocco is the flagship of the four devices. Nokia opted for an 18:9 OLED panel for the display. This is 5,5 inches tall and has a resolution of QHD. Android One was again installed as software here. At the ProThe processor is still the Snapdragon 835, which drives the device in combination with 6GB RAM and 128GB. The battery is 3260mAh in size. The dual camera has the same specs as in the Nokia 7 XL, the front camera has a slightly lower resolution of 5MP. Nokia named mid-April as the release date for this smartphone. The RRP should be €749.
