The Finnish company HMD Global recently officially presented six new Nokia smartphones in the form of the X, G and C series. In this article we want to take a closer look at the most expensive models in the X series, the Nokia X20 and X10.

The Nokia X20 and X10 are extremely similar and only differ in the cameras and RAM. On the other hand, the X10 costs a whopping 319 euros less than the X80 at 20 euros. Both smartphones will be available from May and June in the colors Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue (X399) or in Forest and Snow (X20).

Nokia X20 and X10: Technical Specifications

With dimensions of an impressive 168,9 x 79,7 x 9,1 mm, both devices are clearly among the largest smartphones on the market. Even the huge one Galaxy s21 ultra turns out a bit smaller. One reason for these enormous dimensions is the 6,67-inch LC display on the front, which is only interrupted by a small punch hole in which the front camera is located. The panels have a pleasantly sharp resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels, but only support a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. Almost all of the competition is one step further.

Under the hood is the Snapdragon 480 5G from Qualcomm, which is supported by 4 GB of RAM on the X10 and 8 GB of RAM on the X20. The internal memory is 128 GB in both cases and can be expanded via a micro SD card. The software used is Stock Android 11 and the manufacturer promises three years of security and operating system updates as a special feature. The battery of both smartphones comes to 4.470 mAh.

As mentioned at the beginning, there are slight differences between the cameras. While the main sensor in the X10 has a resolution of 48 megapixels, the main sensor in the X20 has 64 megapixels. Otherwise there are no differences with the remaining sensors: 5 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two sensors with 2 megapixels each, which are responsible for macro shots and depth effects. The front camera of the X20 has a resolution of 32 megapixels and that of the X10 only has a resolution of 8 megapixels.
