OnePlus 6T: Event postponed because of Apple

Earlier this month, OnePlus announced that the launch of the OnePlus 6T on October 30th will take place in New York. so Apple arranged a keynote on the same day, which is why OnePlus postponed the presentation of the new smartphone one day.

In the OnePlus forum, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau posted this week that the presentation of the OnePlus 6T will take place one day earlier than originally planned, i.e. on October 29th at 16 p.m. after our time. With this change, the company wants to avoid clashes with the Apple keynote, which will also take place in New York. A nice gesture: OnePlus agreed to assume the costs of rebooking hotels, flights or similar things.

The OnePlus 6T should be able to do that

Editor-in-chief David Wurm already wrote its own article, in which he summarized all leaks and information already confirmed by OnePlus. Pete Lau is said to have already promised in an interview with CNET that the jack plug in the OnePlus 6T for an in-display fingerprint sensor would be omitted. In addition, there should be no wireless charging this year either. This technology is still too slow for the taste of OnePlus. Instead, they are working on their own solution, which could then probably be called Dash-Qi-Charging.

In terms of price, the OnePlus 6T should start at 549 euros. That would hardly be more expensive than the basic configuration of the OnePlus 6.
