Am 14. May OnePlus will most likely provide the OnePlus 7 Pro before. A new report reveals what we can look forward to in concrete terms.

The well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal joined in Android Central together to give us concrete details about the forthcoming OnePlus 7 Pro to deliver. Let's see what we now know about smartphones.

90 Hertz display, warp charge and more

Perhaps the most interesting detail about the report is that the 7th Pro should have a 90 Hertz display with a QHD+ resolution. Until now, OnePlus smartphones had a 60 Hertz panel with a usual Full HD resolution. So the whole thing would be a huge step forward, if only because such touchscreens with this refresh rate are not yet standard in mobile phones today. If you ask me, this detail was even indirectly confirmed by the OnePlus CEO today.

According to the report, the battery will be 4000mAh - also a big leap forward. OnePlus' Quick Charge technology called Warp Charge with 30 watts is of course also supported. Charging is via a USB-C connector of generation 3.1. For the first time there will also be stereo speakers. I also suspect that OnePlus will opt for the Snapdragon 855 with eight gigabytes of RAM. But: So far, these are all just speculations, even if Agarwal was often right in his assumptions in the past. We will probably receive official information on May 14th.
