After numerous rumors and leaks, the new OnePlus smartphones were officially presented. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. All important facts and specifications can be found here.
A few minutes ago, OnePlus officially launched the new OnePlus 8, along with a OnePlus 8 Pro presented. As usual, the event was broadcast live on YouTube. In this article we have compiled an overview of all the specs and details for you.
OnePlus 8
The biggest difference now is the "punch-hole" display. This is now a 6,55-inch display that has a resolution of FHD+ and comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The 120Hz is only available with the Pro. The budget model of the two smartphones also comes with the latest Snapdragon 865 Proprocessor and optionally 8/12 GB RAM. There is also a difference in storage: the 8 GB RAM model has 128 GB of storage, the 12 GB model has 256 GB.
The cameras have three sensors installed: a 48MP main camera, the second lens is a 16MP ultra wide angle camera (116 °) and a new 2MP super macro camera. The "normal" OnePlus 8 also has no wireless charging and no IP certification. One innovation, however, is the 5G support that comes for both smartphones.
The OnePlus 8 starts at 699 euros in the 8 GB RAM / 128 GB variant and 799 euros in the 12 GB RAM / 256 GB variant.
OnePlus 8 Pro
The Promodel has a 120Hz 3D Fluid AMOLED display with a display diagonal of 6,78 inches this year. Like the OnePlus 8, there is a "punch hole" camera on the front with a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The more expensive model of the two smartphones also comes with the latest Snapdragon 865 Proprocessor and either 8 or 12 GB RAM. There is a choice of 128 or 256 GB of storage. It is completely new compared to its predecessor OnePlus 7T Pro now wireless charging and IP certification.
The cameras have four lenses: a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 5MP IR lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. That Pro has a 4510 mAh battery, which is compatible with Warp Charge 30 or Warp Charge 30 Wireless is loaded. On top of that, of course, it also supports that Pro-Model 5G.
The OnePlus 8 Pro starts at 899 euros in the 8/128 GB version and 999 euros in the 12/265 GB version.
