Just a few weeks ago, OnePlus officially presented the new 8T. There are already some rumors about the upcoming successor, which will probably be presented in March 2021. We have now summarized all the details about the upcoming OnePlus 9.

The following information was obtained from 91mobiles disclosed. The source actually turned out to be quite trustworthy in the past, but some well-known, serious leakers such as Max Jambor and Steve Hemmerstoffer are currently doubting the information.

OnePlus 9: design

Let's start with the design first, because there shouldn't be too much going on here, at least on the front. In the OnePlus 8T, unlike the 8-series, the Chinese manufacturer built a flat display with a small recess for the front camera in the display. The upcoming OnePlus 9 should consistently continue this design.

On the other hand, there are slight differences on the back. The area around the cameras should be similar to that of the current iPhones or with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, now in the device color.

OnePlus 9: the first rumors

The AMOLED display should be 6,55 inches tall and support a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. On the already mentioned back, OnePlus is to install a triple camera, which is equipped as follows: 64 megapixel main camera, 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and there are currently very different statements about the last camera with 8 megapixels. This could either be a macro camera or a telecamera. The latter seems to be a little more likely. The front camera in the display should resolve with 32 megapixels.

Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875, which will be officially unveiled on December 1st, will work. According to the recently emerged benchmark, there should be 8 GB of RAM for this purpose. It is not yet known whether there will be a version with 12 GB RAM. The battery with a capacity of 5.000 mAh should be able to be charged quickly with up to 65 watts.
