With the Oppo Reno 4 Z 5G you probably have the cheapest and comparatively weakest smartphone in your portfolio. This comes with a 6,5 inch FHD display with 120Hz. In addition, you rely entirely on LCD and not AMOLED and a screen ratio of 20:9. Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G, an octa-coreProprocessor with a clock frequency of up to 2 Ghz. This is supported by 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal UFS 2.1 storage.

On the back you will find four cameras arranged in "stovetop style": 48 MP (f/1.7), 8 MP (f/2.2, wide angle, 119 degrees), 2 MP (f/2.4) and 2 MP (f/ 2.4). Oppo did not reveal exactly which lens does what in the data sheets. The main camera also records videos in 4K, 1080p and 720p, each with 30 frames pro second up. On the front, the dual front camera shoots selfies with a resolution of 16 megapixels (f/2.0) and 2 megapixels (f/2.4).

The whole package is powered by a 4.000 mAh battery, which is 18 watts with Oppos "VOOC fast charging“Is charged. Also worth mentioning is Bluetooth 5.0, Dual SIM, VoLTE & VoWiFi for Vodafone, Telekom and O2, the headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.0. The "middle class Reno" is the Oppo Reno 4 5G. Surprisingly, this comes with a smaller and weaker display than the entry-level model. There are 6,4 inches with FHD + resolution and only 60 Hertz. While the Reno 4 Z uses LCD, the usual AMOLED is also available with the same screen ratio.

In the ProLike the new Pixel phones, the zessor specs are based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, an octa-core chip (up to 2,4 GHz), which also supports 5G. There is also 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The camera only comes in a trio here, why always if you rely on four lenses with the Reno 4 Z. For normal photos there is 48 megapixels (f/1.7), for wide-angle 8 MP (f/2.2, 119 degrees) and then another 2 MP lens with f/2.4. The dual front camera resolves with 32 and 2 MP, both with f/2.4. Unlike the Reno 4 Z, this dual front camera is much smaller on the Reno 4 5G. Videos are available in 4K (only 30 FPS), 1080p and 720p with 60/30 FPS each.

The battery here is 20 mAh larger, i.e. 4.020 mAh and is 65 watts "Super VOOC 2.0“Charged. In contrast to the Reno 4 Z, there is also the option of charging other devices with wireless charging through reverse charge. You have to cut back on the headphone connection. Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-SIM, VoLTE & VoWiFi for Vodafone, Telekom and O2, Android 10 and ColorOS 7.2 (yes, actually newer than the Reno 4 Z) - check. Thanks to its IP54 certification, it is also protected against dust and splash water.

At a price of 599 euros, the Oppo Reno 4 5G is yours – at MediaMarkt Germany, Saturn Germany and other networks, among othersprofour available. The colors Galactic Blue and Space Black are available.

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G is an exciting device: On the one hand, it is being dubbed the "Pro“, on the other hand it is even weaker than the other models in some points. Basically, the display is about on the same level as the Reno 4, but comes with a 6,5 instead of 6,4 inch display (FHD+) and 90 Hz. Around 120 Hz from the cheapest smartphone in the series - the Reno 4 Z 5G - but it still doesn't come close.

On the back is a triple camera with the following combination: 48 MP (f/1.7), 12 MP (f/2.2, 120 degrees, wide angle) and 13 MP (f/2.4). As an extra, there is an optical image stabilizer in the 48 MP lens of the device. The zoom levels here are 3x optical, 5x hybrid and 20x digital, instead of being completely digital on the other devices. The front camera does not have a twin this time and alone offers a resolution of 32 megapixels (f/2.4, EIS). That too Pro records videos like the normal Reno 4, unfortunately at 4K only 30 FPS.

There is also an upgrade for the speakers, which come with dual stereo and Dolby Atmos. At the Prozessor is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as in the Reno 4. However, RAM and storage are a big leap up: there is 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The Reno 4 is filled up Pro with 65 watts of “SuperVOOC 2.0” and a battery capacity of 4.000 mAh.

The software also uses Android 10 together with ColorOS 7.2. Bluetooth 5.1, reverse charging, wireless charging, IP54 certification and even a pedometer are available here. There are also dual SIM and VoLTE & VoWiFi for Vodafone, Telekom and O2.

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro comes in the colors Galactic Blue and Space Black at a price of 799 euros. This will also be available from MediaMarkt Germany, Saturn Germany and other retailers.
