Realme GT 2 Pro presented: Realme's first flagship

Today the Chinese manufacturer presented the Realme GT 2 Pro, a new GT series smartphone for the Chinese market. Whether and when the device will appear in Europe is unfortunately still unclear at this point in time.
The prices for the GT 2 Pro start at the equivalent of around 544 euros for the smallest version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory and the absolute top version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage is available for the equivalent of 697 euros.
Realme GT 2 Pro: Technical Specifications
The Realme GT 2 Pro is offered with white, green, black and blue in four beautiful colors and the first two use the “Paper” finish, which, according to Realme, was designed “according to the sustainable concept of paper art”. In the case of black and blue, matt glass is used on the back, which means that fingerprints shouldn't be too noticeable. The frame is made of metal and not the usual plastic like we made it from GT Neo 2 or the regular GT of the first generation.

At 189 grams, the GT 2 Pro has a fairly normal weight and at 8,19 millimeters it is anything but thick. The front is dominated by a 6,7-inch LTPO OLED display, which has an extremely sharp WQHD + resolution and supports a fluid refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The touch sampling rate is actually a proud 1.000 Hertz, which no other smartphone can offer today. The panel is only interrupted by a small punch hole that houses the 32 megapixel front camera. The edges around the panel appear extremely thin on pictures.
Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen. 1, which is supported by 6, 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal storage, depending on the version. Unfortunately, the memory cannot be expanded using a microSD card. The 5.000 mAh battery, which can be quickly charged with up to 65 watts, should ensure long runtimes. Wireless charging is unfortunately not on board.
Realme installed a triple camera on the back, which is a decent upgrade compared to the first GT. The main sensor used is the IMX766 with 50 megapixels, which we take from the Huawei P50 Pro know. There is also a 50 megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an extraordinarily wide field of view of 150 °, which is currently not available on any other smartphone. This setup is complemented by a 2 megapixel microscope camera.
