The Chinese manufacturer Realme today officially presented the new Neo 3 series for the European market. In addition to a regular Neo 3, which is supposed to score particularly well with its 50 megapixel main camera and the impressive 150 watt fast charge technology, there is also a slightly cheaper and slightly less equipped version with the Realme GT Neo 3T for an RRP of 429 euros.

In this article we have summarized all information about the new Neo 3T for you and our test report will be published very soon. We recommend it to anyone interested in the regular Neo 3 our test report, which is already on TechnikNews appeared.

Design

First, let's start with the design of the smartphone that Realme compares to the GT Neo 2 slightly altered. We see a familiar picture on the front, because the front camera is also located here in the form of a small recess in the display and the edges around the screen are sufficiently thin. There are only visible changes on the back, which is reminiscent of racing flags in the colors "Dash Yellow" and "Drifting White". In addition, the camera bump on the yellow model is black, which provides a nice contrast. On the white device, the camera bump is white. If you like it classic and not too flashy, you should rather go for the “Shade Black” version.

Technical data

There are almost no changes in the technical data compared to last year's Neo 2. A 3-inch OLED display is also used in the Neo 6,62T, which has a resolution of 2.400 x 1.080 pixels and supports a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hertz . Realme has only made a small change to the touch sampling rate (indicates how often the screen registers, scans or recognizes inputs in one second), because while it is still an impressive 2 Hertz on the Neo 600, the panel of the Neo 3T "only" with 360 Hertz. The smartphone can be unlocked quickly and securely via the fingerprint sensor integrated into the display. Furthermore, the Neo 3T comes with stereo speakers and the vibration motor is said to be really good like the Neo 2.

The in-house Realme UI in version 3, based on Android 12, is used as the software. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm, which is supported by 8 GB of RAM. Depending on the version, there is also 128 or 256 GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage, which unfortunately cannot be expanded via a microSD card. The absolute highlight is the battery and the fast charging technology. With a proud 5.000 mAh, the Realme GT Neo 3T is very well equipped to proeasily get through a day without a charge. If the battery should actually run out during the day, it can be fully charged again in about 80 minutes with the supplied 30 watt power supply.

On the back there is space for three sensors in the top left. The main sensor has a resolution of 64 megapixels and is 1/2 inch smaller than most other sensors from the competition. There is also a 119° ultra wide-angle camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels and a 2 megapixel macro camera. A 16 megapixel front camera is responsible for selfies.
