Samsung Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 presented
In addition to the lineup consisting of the Galaxy 10 series and the Galaxy Fold Samsung showed two mid-range smartphones at MWC today. This is the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.
The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is in full swing. Although many smartphones have already been shown, we haven't seen everything by a long way. So today Samsung surprisingly added two mid-range smartphones. Two more devices are added to the A series: the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50.
Samsung Galaxy A30
The Samsung Galaxy A30 is the slimmed down smartphone. It comes with a 6,4-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED display and teardrop notch. Due to the Infitity Display, the front is completely closed - there are no real edges to see. A dual 1,8GHz + hexa 1,6GHz works inside the smartphone Proprocessor. This is accompanied by 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The internal memory is rated at 32 or 64 GB, which can be expanded by up to 512 GB using a micro SD card.
The camera on the front has a resolution of 16 megapixels (f / 2.0), the dual camera on the rear with 16 MP (f / 1.7) and 5 MP (f / 2.2). The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh, which can be charged using Fast Charging. As extras there is a fingerprint sensor on the back, Samsung Pay and Bixby.
Price and availability are not yet available.
Samsung Galaxy A50
In addition to the A30, a second, more powerful model was also presented. The Galaxy A50 is also equipped with the same display and is identical to the A158,5 with its dimensions of 74,7 x 7,7 x 30 mm. The difference is a quad 2,3GHz + quad 1,7GHz Proprocessor and 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM, respectively. The internal memory is 64 or 128 GB, which can also be expanded using a micro SD card.
The camera is also a little different. There is a 25 megapixel (f / 2.0) selfie cam on the front and three cameras on the back. These resolve with 25MP (F1.7) + 5MP (F2.2) + 8MP (F2.2). The battery is also the same size with its 4000 mAh. The big difference here is that instead of a fingerprint sensor on the back, there is one "under" the display. Prices have not yet been determined here either.
Sales should start at the beginning of April, although the Galaxy A30 is not expected to come to us at the moment.
